Country star Tucker Wetmore’s Oct. 25 show in Round Rock, Texas, had to be canceled due to stormy weather, but the singer didn’t leave his fans completely stranded.
Instead, the newly CMA nominated best new artist showed up in the grassy parking area where several fans’ cars were stuck and helped push them out.
“Show got cancelled so this is what we did instead,” the singer wrote on an Instagram video.
The video shows Wetmore helping push vehicles out of the muddy parking field in the pouring rain before chatting with fans and giving a few fist bumps and taking photos.
Wetmore commented only, “Love y’all,” on the post, but fans had a lot more to say including one who commented, “Wetmore gettin’ wet. What a hero you are.” Another commented, “Tucker and every member of his amazing entourage are incredible super humans!”

Wetmore was recently nominated for a CMA Award for best new artist. The singer is having a big year on the heels of his debut album “What Not To,” which clocked in as the biggest country album debut from a new artist in 2025.
The album features back-to-back platinum songs “Wine Into Whiskey” and two-times platinum “Wind Up Missin’ You” which was also his first No. 1 at country radio.
