‘American Pickers’ Danielle Colby Announces New Show Alongside Stunning Burlesque Photos

American Pickers star Danielle Colby announced a new show alongside stunning burlesque photos.

On Monday, Nov. 17, the History Channel personality, 49, took to Instagram with a carousel of images from a recent show while revealing another upcoming performance.

“This is my happy place. Two decades into this art form and I just can’t quit it,” Colby said of performing burlesque under the stage name Dannie Diesel. “I get the pure joy of connecting with my audience and making new friends each time I take the stage. My life’s dream is this moment here, shared with a group of beautiful women who came to their first burly experience here with us at @ecdysiastartsmuseum.”

In the update, Colby said that a recent show, the “Halloween Hustle,” was “exactly the reassurance that I needed to realize that I am on the right path and in line with my calling.”

“Dance, especially burly is a process,” she continued before announcing, “My current process is producing the “QC New Year Reverie” at @adlertheatredavenport Dec 31. I’m happy to share the process of producing these shows.”

Those interested in attending the burlesque show can purchase tickets starting at $35.

In the comments, Colby’s followers expressed excitement for the upcoming production. One Instagram user declared, “We love seeing you blossom into your best self. It’s a beautiful sight! ;).”

Another follower shared, “Beautiful show 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️.”

Someone else pointed out, “You can really feel the heart and soul you put into this art form. It’s truly a beautiful and inspiring thing to witness.”

Meanwhile, one of her fellow burlesque dancers commented, “All you create is the product of so much intention, thought, inclusion and rebellion. Every time I come out feeling self-realized and hella thankful.”

Colby has performed burlesque for years and recently opened the Ecdysiast Arts Museum in Davenport, Iowa, dedicated to the history of stripping.
