MGK drops his leaked song after eight years
Machine Gun Kelly, who wished to release his song, Times of My Life in 2019, has surprised his fans with its sudden launch.
The father of two has released his eight-year-old leaked track on January 2nd, 2026 as he realised that it went viral “too many times”.
The song was initially made for the crooner’s 2020 pop-punk album, Tickets to My Downfall, but the demo version got leaked.
After so many years, the American rapper has ultimately announced on his social media that he has officially launched the music.
He stated, “i recorded this in 2018, it leaked years ago and went viral in my fan base too many times so today i am releasing it.”
MGK also uploaded a video which featured clips with former partner Megan Fox from his personal live and documentary, Life in Pink.
One supporter praised, “This video hurts my heart but in the best way while being nostalgic and cathartic.”
It is to be noted that MGK never released the song because the hook was similar to Tom Petty’s Learning to Fly song.
For the unfamiliar, this was the first song, the I Think I’m OKAY hitmaker worked on with songwriter, Travis Barker.
