Kane Brown is gearing up to step into the next chapter of his career, and fans won’t have to wait long to hear what he’s been working on.

The 32-year-old country superstar recently opened up about his upcoming new album during a casual on-the-street interview in New York City with Tyler Walsh for the What Do You Do For A Living? social media series, offering an exciting glimpse into what’s next.

In the clip, Brown confirmed that he’s “working on new music now” that he is “really pumped about it.” He went on to reveal that a brand-new album is in the works to be released sometime in 2026, with the first taste of the project expected to arrive right around Valentine’s Day. “I got an album that’s probably going to come out next year, and my first song’s going to come out around Valentine’s Day,” Brown shared.

While details about the album are still under wraps, Kane Brown did share that his forthcoming fifth studio album will showcase his personal evolution and growth. Over the last few years, Brown has been very open about focusing on his mental health, fitness and quitting nicotine. He is also cutting back on drinking.

“I’m working on myself a lot, so it’s just going to be a new era of Kane Brown,” he added. “I’m super into fitness, mental health. Just got off of nicotine. I’m trying not to drink as much and just really feeling good about my body,” he explained. “Just trying to age backwards,” he added with a laugh.

The song, titled “Woman,” is reportedly set to drop around Valentine’s Day this year, and Brown has teased it multiple times on social media in recent months, as he often does to gather feedback from fans. In fact, Brown has said he plans to return to “the old school way of putting out music,” releasing songs independently without a set plan, despite being signed to Sony Music Nashville.

“They talkin’ ’bout girls/but I got a woman/ yeah, I got a woman right here in my hands/ they talkin’ ’bout girls, but I got a woman/ I got a woman, and she got a man,” he sang in the work he posted in late December 2025. He captioned the audio file, “held off on teasing as long as I could, but I can’t WAIT to drop this song” alongside a fire emoji. Later adding, “this is just the demo, and it’s still gas.”

In addition to “Woman,” Brown has teased several other tracks since releasing his last project, The High Road, including an unreleased motivational track about overcoming his hardest days that he didn’t share a title for. Throughout the teaser, the father of three puts his life story to music with a song that’s all about him overcoming the obstacles of his past and being forever grateful about how things have turned out.

“I played the cards that I was dealt/ Wouldn’t wish ‘em on nobody else/ Odds would say I didn’t stand a chance,” the uplifting chorus goes. “But I went all in, and I doubled down/ Still can’t believe how life turned out/ Sure wasn’t mine so it must’ve been God’s plan/ Who says you can’t win a losin’ hand.”

He also teased songs such as “Where Would I Go” and “Unspoken.” Brown shared “Where Would I Go” in July of 2025 with the caption, “this was during my dark days before these last couple months of my life turning around. I wondered if when I was gone if I would be in the spirit world and what would I do. Who would be at my funeral at the end of the day after all of this.”

The song finds the singer/songwriter questioning life and what happens after you die.

I posted this short clip as a story, but the love it’s getting means so much ❤️ If this song speaks to you, I just want you to know—money and fame don’t bring true happiness. Sure, they can fix some problems, but then what? Real happiness comes from the people around you—and even then, it’s still possible to feel low. I just hope this reaches whoever needs it.

He also teased a song titled “Unspoken,” a powerful track that finds the hitmaker sharing a message that he says “the world needs to here.”

On the track’s chorus, Brown sings, “Never leave a prayer left un-prayed/ I’ma let it all off my chest/ gonna stand tall in what I say/ ’til I’m down to my last breath/ When they lay me in that Georgia clay/ And that pinewood box is closing/ One thing that they’ll all know is/ I didn’t leave a word unspoken/ unspoken.”

The upcoming new music will follow the release of “2 Pair” and his fourth studio album, The High Road. While the “Miles On It” singer doesn’t currently have a full tour on the books, he is set to deliver several headlining performances at festivals including Extra Innings Festival, iHeartRadio Music Festival, Miles On It Truck Show, Country Thunder Florida, The Country Fest 2026, Hoofbeat Country Fest, Country Thunder Alberta, Country Thunder Winnipeg, McHenry Music Festival, and more.
