Ex-Prince Andrew’s Like ‘Black Mould,’ Says Expert: ‘Just Won’t Go Away’

The latest developments surrounding ex-Prince Andrew have reignited debate about his place within the monarchy. One royal commentator suggests the family is struggling to move on from the controversy that continues to follow him. After quietly vacating Royal Lodge earlier than expected, the former Duke of York has once again found himself at the center of public scrutiny. Experts claim the move was meant to reduce attention, but may have done the opposite.

Royal Family ‘desperately’ trying to get Ex-Prince Andrew out like ‘black mould,’ says expert

Royal expert Samara Gill has alleged that the Royal Family is locked in an uphill battle when it comes to distancing itself from Andrew. She compared the situation to a “black mould” that refuses to disappear. Speaking to The Sun, Gill claimed the family’s handling of Andrew’s early departure from Royal Lodge has only drawn more attention to him at a time when they may have preferred a quiet resolution.

According to reports, Andrew left the 31-room Windsor property late on Monday night, months ahead of the original timeline that followed the return of his lease. He was reportedly driven under cover of darkness to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, where he is said to be staying temporarily at Wood Farm Cottage while renovations are completed on a nearby residence, Marsh Farm, expected to become his long-term home.

Gill suggested that the accelerated move signaled urgency rather than closure. “It shows that the royal family is desperately trying to get him out,” she claimed. In her view, allowing Andrew to remain out of sight at Royal Lodge might have kept attention at bay longer.

Another royal commentator, Kate Mansey, echoed the idea that tensions remain behind palace doors. She speculated that Andrew’s reluctance to follow advice from his brother, King Charles III, may have complicated matters. Mansey suggested that alternative housing arrangements within Windsor could have offered a quieter outcome. However, she alleged that Andrew’s independent streak left the King unwilling to intervene further.

At the same time, Gill has claimed that Andrew will continue to resurface in public conversation. “There are many different things that need to be tied up at the moment,” she suggested. “So yes it’s the end but also it’s just the start.”
