King Charles Has ‘Profound Concern’ Over Andrew Allegations
In an official statement released by Buckingham Palace, the King expressed “profound concern” over the continuing allegations involving his brother, including claims that Andrew shared confidential documents with Epstein during his time as the UK’s special trade envoy.
Buckingham Palace has stated it would cooperate with authorities if required, with an official statement reading: “The King has made clear, in words and through unprecedented actions, his profound concern at allegations which continue to come to light in respect of Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor’s conduct.”
The statement continued: “While the specific claims in question are for Mr Mountbatten-Windsor to address, if we are approached by Thames Valley Police we stand ready to support them as you would expect.”

Sky News royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills described the timing of King Charles’ statement as “extraordinary,” noting that it was released while Prince William was undertaking a diplomatic visit to Saudi Arabia.
“The fact it has also come as Prince William embarks on a hugely important trip on behalf of the UK government, trying to cement relationships here in Saudi Arabia, in itself says so much about this statement,” Mills stated.
“When royals are on tour, nothing is done to distract from the important business they’re doing on behalf of the UK government,” she explained, “and the fact that Buckingham Palace has now felt the need to put out another statement regarding Andrew, responding for the first time to the latest release of the Epstein files, is absolutely extraordinary.”
She added: “In the past, I think they would have tried to ignore this, but the amount of detail and information that has been exposed in these recent Epstein files means that they simply cannot ignore it.”

Prince William And Kate Middleton Are ‘Deeply Concerned’
The palace intervention follows an earlier statement issued on behalf of Prince William and Kate Middleton, which said they were “deeply concerned” by the latest revelations.
“I can confirm The Prince and Princess have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations. Their thoughts remain focused on the victims,” the Prince and Princess of Wales’ spokesperson said in an official statement.
The palace also stressed where the royal family’s focus lies, with the statement concluding: “Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”
It has also been reported that Prince William is reviewing details concerning the protection officers assigned to Andrew during a 2010 visit to Epstein’s seven-story Manhattan townhouse. The visit took place after Epstein’s June 2008 conviction on state charges related to soliciting prostitution from a minor.
