An electronic music superstar has filmed his latest music video in Brighton.

The video for Somewhere Else, a single by TOMORA, was released on March 3 and features scenes around Brighton beach and the Palace Pier.

The video already has almost 200,000 views on Youtube.

TOMORA is a new collaborative project between Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers and Norwegian singer Aurora.

Their debut single Ring The Alarm was released in December 2025.

Somewhere Else is TOMORA’s latest single, and its video follows a mysterious protagonist as she wakes on the shingle, wanders beneath the pier, and explores arcades and fairground rides along the seafront before heading into the city.

The majority of the video was shot on location in Brighton. Watch it here:

At the end of the video, she enters a nightclub, with those scenes filmed at Lost nightclub in London.

In the video, Aurora wakes up beneath the pier, confused and missing a shoe, as if washed up or stranded.

She then drifts through Brighton’s arcades, fairground rides and promenades, moving with the curiosity of a visitor unfamiliar with the world around her.

Much of the video was shot on Brighton Palace Pier, and the credits thank David Chick at Brighton Palace Pier for his support.

Cutaway shots feature the wider seafront, railings and promenade, but the portrayal of Brighton is introspective and dreamlike.

Tom Rowlands is best known as one half of The Chemical Brothers, the influential electronic duo he formed with Ed Simons in Manchester in the early 1990s.

The Chemical Brothers played a key role in popularising the big beat sound, and their 1997 album Dig Your Own Hole reached the top of the UK charts and helped cement electronica’s place in popular music.
