View Royal Fire welcomes ‘critical additions’ to its ranks

Four new career firefighters are all set to start snuffing out blazes in View Royal.
Late last month, View Royal Fire welcomed a fresh, young contingent, hired from within its paid-on call ranks.
The hires are each part of View Royal Fire’s strategic initiative to improve its 24-hour emergency response.
“These critical additions to staffing will strengthen our department and support the successful Westshore Fire Service integrated model,” the town said in a social media post.
“We are looking forward to the next 30 years of service these great people will bring to the community.”
