Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton have taken their romance to the racetrack. Yesterday, the Formula 1 driver shared a new video on Instagram that shows him driving a red Ferrari F40, with Kardashian in the passenger seat. It was quite a way to go Instagram-official.
The video is an amalgamation of speedy clips that show Hamilton drifting, swerving, gliding, and racing in the Ferrari along the streets of Tokyo, Japan, and in the Daikoku Parking Area as his girlfriend smiles from the rush. “That’s insane,” she says at the end.
He called the video “Tokyo Drift Vol. III.”
Hamilton was in the city for the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix, where he raced and finished sixth. (Hamilton is signed to Scuderia Ferrari, along with another F1 pro, Charles Leclerc.) Kardashian flew there to support him, and even brought along her kids and sister Khloé Kardashian.
They each shared photos on Instagram from their trip—and Kardashian even dressed the part of an F1 WAG—but had not yet taken their relationship to the grid until Hamilton posted this fiery video.
Kardashian and Hamilton have known each other since the early 2010s, and stayed friends through the years. Their relationship didn’t turn romantic, however, until this year. After ringing in 2026 at the same party—Kate Hudson’s Aspen soirée—the two embarked on a relaxing weekend getaway to Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds. Soon after, they took their romance to Paris, and in February, they attended Super Bowl LX together. Their latest trip was to Tokyo, where they decided to go Instagram-official. Things may be getting serious!
