Martha Stewart has been a beauty icon for as long as I can remember. Yes, she might be most known for her homemaking expertise, but Martha was also a model for several years before entering entrepreneurship. (Its no wonder why everyone’s all ears whenever she shares a beauty secret.)
These days, the celebrity remains active in her homemaking ventures—all while making appearances on talk shows and events—looking flawless as ever. In fact, I recently discovered her secret behind her glowy makeup. She’s been reported multiple times wearing the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation, a makeup find that I’ve been hearing about on YouTube for year.
“I don’t like matte finishes… I like my face to be shiny,” Martha shared in a beauty routine with Vogue. The best way to describe this formula is probably, silky, blurring, and natural looking—so it makes this is her go-to. It’s a great option for anyone who wants the coverage while still looking and feeling they aren’t wearing any makeup.
Fun fact: This particular foundation won a Good Housekeeping Beauty Award this year (see our full Beauty Awards list that just launched, featuring our team’s favorite products after testing literally hundreds of them). While the foundation has been around since March 2000, our pros at the Beauty & Personal Care Lab love the recently-updated formula (as of January 2026), along with its large selection of 44 shades.
In our tests, the foundation was rated best for applying evenly and blending seamlessly into the skin, and our beauty pros noted that it gave lasting coverage that “looked like skin.” Consumer testers were also big fans, praising the formula’s “natural finish.”
You can buy the foundation at Sephora or directly on Giorgio Armani’s beauty site.
