It was announced this week that the Emmy-Award winning series, “Ted Lasso” is coming back for a fourth season on Apple TV+.
The show, which stars Jason Sudeikis, is a comedy which focuses on an-over-the-top American named Ted Lasso who finds himself coaching a soccer team in England after a separation from his wife.
“The first season (of “Ted Lasso”) became the most Emmy Award-nominated comedy series, and the series went on to land rare back-to-back Outstanding Comedy Series Emmys for its first two seasons on air,” according to Apple TV+.

When does season four of ‘Ted Lasso’ premiere?
Apple TV+ said it will premiere on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, with one episode. It will be followed by new episodes every Wednesday through Oct. 7, 2026.
What’s the plot of the new season?
“In season four, Ted returns to Richmond, (England) taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would,” Apple TV+ said.
At the end of season 3, Ted Lasso quit the AFC Richmond men’s soccer team to go back to spend more time with his son, Henry.
