‘GMA’ Star Robin Roberts Teases Clue About Her Career

Robin Roberts teased new projects during the 2026 Disney Upfronts in New York City.

The news comes weeks after Robin got nominated for a 2026 News and Documentary Emmy Award.

Robin Roberts has something in the works—and she’s teasing it on social media.

For the last 20 years, the Good Morning America host has dished out all the latest in pop culture and news on ABC. Outside of morning TV, she’s built her Rock’n Robin Productions company and is the best-selling author of multiple books.

And from the looks of it, she may have something new up her sleeve. She teased some of the projects she’s working on with ABC News, posting a photo alongside Disney’s First President and Chief Creative Officer Dana Walden on Instagram after participating in the 2026 Disney Upfronts in New York City.

While Robin couldn’t necessarily share what she has in store, she noted there are exciting moments ahead for the network.

“Such a special afternoon at the Disney Upfronts!” she wrote in the caption on May 13. “So enjoyed getting to sit down with Disney’s First President and Chief Creative Officer @danawalden … and represent ABC News as we look forward to what’s ahead! 🤩.”

Back in April, Robin was nominated for a 2026 News and Documentary Emmy Award for her ABC TV special, Hurricane Katrina: 20 Years After the Storm. The Rock’n Robin Instagram account shared gratitude for the nomination.
