Since late 2022, Amber Heard has been building a whole new life for herself and her family. Following the headline-making defamation lawsuit from her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, Heard moved away from the chaos of the US and began to plant roots across the ocean in Madrid, Spain.
Since then, while she’s been making the best of life away from the spotlight, she’s shared glimpses of her Spanish life with her followers on Instagram.
Most recently, she shared photos of herself following a 10-kilometer race on Sunday, June 21, in Madrid. The race, sponsored by KLM, was titled Norte vs Sur, and pits racers from the North and South of the city to race against each other.
Per the Marathon Handbook, Heard ran at an impressive speed. She ran the 10 kilometers in 44 minutes and 15 seconds, and placed 42nd in the general standings and 23rd in her women’s masters division. Her average pace was 4:25 per kilometer, or about 7:06 per mile.

On her Instagram feed, she posted a picture of herself smiling in a two-piece pink workout set after the race. “First race glow 💕🇪🇸,” she wrote in the caption.
On her Instagram Story, she shared a selfie of herself before the race, and followed with two pictures of herself after the race, hugging her oldest, 5-year-old daughter Oonagh Paige. “Nothing beats this feeling,” she wrote alongside the mom-daughter pics.
In the pictures, while Heard is still smiling from ear to ear, Oonagh is wearing a red-and-white plaid summer dress, with her hair in pigtails with pink bows.

As a reminder, Heard welcomed her daughter in April 2021 via surrogacy.
She announced the news on her Instagram, saying, “I’m so excited to share this news with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
“A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this,” she said. “My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.”
Then, on Mother’s Day 2025, Heard announced that she welcomed twins, a daughter named Agnes and a son named Ocean. She’s been a proud mom of three ever since.
