Kate Hudson is celebrating her son Bingham‘s 15th birthday!

On Thursday, July 9, the Running Pointstar marked the milestone with an Instagram carousel post featuring six snaps of her middle child.

“My beautiful birthday boy!” her heartfelt caption began.

Hudson, 47, went on to describe Bingham, whom she shares with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, as “Sensitive, endlessly creative, and always you.”

The Almost Famousactress’ post concluded, “What a joy it is to watch you grow into the person you’re becoming. Happy Birthday, my sweet Bing. I love you more than you’ll ever know.”

The social media carousel featured Hudson posing alongside Bingham as well as snaps of him with his elder brother, Ryder Robinson, whose father is Hudson’s former husband,  Chris Robinson.

Bingham was also captured blowing out a sparkler on top of a birthday pancake stack, which appeared to have been taken on a boat during Hudson’s recent family vacation to Greece, as well as him jumping off the back of the boat.

Another snap showed him sticking his tongue out as a toddler and pulling funny faces with his movie star mom as a teen.

Famous faces in the post’s comment section included Liv Tyler, 49, who sent a stream of pink love heart emojis as well as Jennifer Garner, 54, who wrote, “Bing! Happy birthday ♥️♥️♥️.”

Hudson has recently returned from an idyllic-looking vacation in Greece and shared several Instagram photo dumps of her adventures, which she enjoyed with her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, their daughter, Rani, 7, Bingham, and Ryder, 22.

The blended family’s break included swimming in crystal-clear oceans, speedboat trips and sampling the local cuisine, and the actress described the European destination as her “happy place,” in one post.

Following his birth on July 9, 2011, in Los Angeles, Bellamy revealed the origins of his name, sharing on X that Bingham was his mother’s maiden name, and Bing Russell was Hudson’s stepfather Kurt Russells dad. 

Meanwhile, Bingham’s middle name, Hawn, is a nod to Hudson’s mother. “Family connections all round!” Bellamy posted on social media at the time.

Hudson and Bellamy have maintained an amicable relationship since ending their relationship, and in a March 2021 interview with Women’s Health, the actress talked about how they navigate co-parenting.

“One thing that Matt said to me, which I loved, is ‘I just want to make sure that Bing feels like he’s gaining something, not losing something,’ ” she shared. “I think it’s even bonded us closer — me, Matt, Elle [Evans, Bellamy’s then wife] and Danny [Fujikawa] — because we have to trust that we’re protecting each other.”
