Superstar Aamir Khan on Thursday said he hadn’t watched Dhurandhar: The Revenge yet, but had heard only good things about the film. The actor was speaking at the International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) 2026, when he was asked to comment on the massive success of the Aditya Dhar directorial.
As reported by the news agency ANI, he said, “I believe it’s doing really well. I have not seen the film yet. But I hear only praise of the film. Dhurandhar 1 and now Dhurandhar 2. Both the films have done exceptionally well and my very best wishes to the team.”

Earlier, actor-politician Kangana Ranaut also praised Dhurandhar 2 by calling it the “new India” during her presence at the inauguration ceremony of IFFD in Delhi.
While speaking to the media at the film festival, Kangana highlighted the need for such platforms that showcase films like Dhurandhar. “This is the picture of new India,” she said, adding that the film reflected “culture, patriotism and modernity – the dream of a developed India.”
“You see the pulsating energy of a new India” in the film, she said, adding that the IFFD was a boost to showcase such films. “For this, such platforms should be there,” the actor said, according to an ANI report.
The spy-thriller, released on March 19, has sparked widespread conversation about its theme, politics, music, performances and storytelling technique. It is headlined by Ranveer Singh, and also features Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal among others in important roles. Dhurandhar 2 is directed, written and produced by Aditya Dhar.
