Aaron Phypers’ cousin, Kathleen McAllister, has made some bombshell claims regarding his relationship with Denise Richards.
McAllister alleged that she once saw Phypers, 53, hurt and slam the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, against a wall.
“He was choking her and her head slammed against the [wall] and caused a concussion,” she claimed, according to People. “She was just really upset, in pain, disoriented. [I was] concerned she could have died.”
McAllister worked with Phypers from 2017 to 2022 at his Malibu medical center and discussed the alleged abuse that went down in the parking lot of the office previously.
She testified in court on Monday, October 6, in an effort to support Richards’ want for a permanent restraining order against Phypers.
The actress and the businessman married in 2018, and Phypers filed for divorce in July 2025. Richards was granted a temporary restraining order against him shortly after their split.

The reality star had previously accused Phypers of domestic violence and claimed he would “frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head,” according to court docs obtained by People.
In her tesitmony, McAllister also described a horrifying incident that allegedly went down in 2022 in the bathroom of Phypers’ office. She alleged that she heard “thrashing” sounds that led to Richards receiving an “injury on her head from [Aaron] slamming her head on the toilet paper rack in the bathroom.”
She then alleged that there was “a period of escalating abuse” and “yelling and arguing” between Richards and Phypers that lasted from January 2022 to May 2022.
One incident in particular, McAllister claims that she witnessed Phypers give the Wild Things actress a black eye. “I saw Aaron hit Denise and immediately she had a really bad black eye,” McAllister alleged. “I’m literally in shock now to this day about it.”
Phypers has not spoken out about McAllister’s testimony, however he previously denied abuse allegations in a statement to People, calling them “completely false and deeply hurtful.”
