Aiden Ross, a singer from just outside of Houston, wowed all four celebrity coaches on Monday night’s episode of “The Voice.”
The College Station native performed Adele’s “Love in the Dark” on the Season 28 premiere, earning chair turns from Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg. McEntire called his performance “mesmerizing.” He was the first performer of the episode.

Ross, 20, is a sophomore at Texas A&M University who is studying industrial engineering. He said he grew up singing on his family’s strawberry farm in College Station.
Ross impressed with a clear, commanding voice that belied his age. Snoop Dogg was the first coach to turn within 10 seconds. He was quickly followed by the others.
“You better eat, nephew!” Snoop shouted with excitement.
After all four coaches pled their case, Ross chose Niall Horan, who called his voice “unbelievable.”
“I have to put my neck on the line here. The belief I have from hearing, like, six notes out of your mouth is insane. I think you could be in the final of this competition,” Horan said.
Once the blind auditions are done, Ross moves on to the battle rounds, where singers from the same team are paired up to sing duets. One moves on, and one is eliminated.
This past weekend, Ross also dropped a new single called “Everything and More.”
