Actor Alec Baldwin was reportedly concerned about looking after the seven young children he shares with his wife, Hilaria, before she made her debut on Dancing With The Stars.
A source told RadarOnline.com last week, “Alec’s tearing his hair out at the prospect of being in charge of the kids. The fact that he’ll be up to his eyeballs in daddy duty freaks him out.”
They also said moving the family from their New York home to LA, where the show is filmed, was “impractical” for the cash-strapped pair and that they decided Hilaria should feature on reality TV to pay the Rust actor-producer’s legal costs for the court case filed after the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set .
Baldwin filed a lawsuit in January against those involved in pursuing criminal charges against him over the death of Hutchins, which were dismissed last year by a judge.
Baldwin, who also shares a daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger, posted cheeky dance clips of his wife on Instagram before announcing she is competing on the upcoming season.
On Sunday, September 28, Hilaria took a break from the show to share the heartbreaking news with her fans that her dog Dama had died.
Hilaria wrote in a tribute to her pooch on Instagram, “Rest in peace, sweet Dama.
“You brought so much joy to our lives…you were that dog that slept on my pregnant belly. Your life was long and happy.”
“I know you are running through fields and eating all the cookies you want. We are sad but grateful that we had you in our lives.”
Hilaria also shared a slew of pictures of Dama, including one that showed Alec cuddling up to their dog, and another that featured her sweetly holding Dama.
