The New York City dating scene is a tough place, even for a lovely, charismatic, energy ball of a supermodel like Alex Consani, it seems.
“Girl, nothing,” Consani says of her empty Instagram DMs during her candid cover story chat with Harper’s Bazaar.
When asked if she’d ever approach someone in person, the model says, “Yeah. I don’t give a fuck. I’ll be like, ‘Hey, what’s your name?’ Whatever. And if they’re not into it, then that’s fine, girl. I move the fuck on. I have moments to make, baby. I got things to do.”
And yet, it’s a single-girl summer for the 22-year-old. She’s not bothered. “I like to fuck more than I like to date,” she admits.
Consani has been linked to American rapper Nettspend, but while she’s an open book about everything else, very little is known about her love life. Her dream partner? Well, she’s into several different types.
“I do have a Notes list with my types, though,” she says, reading through it: “DL [down-low] events planner. European soccer player. Female firefighter. Chef. Son or daughter of a family who owns a hotel chain. Kids of the Rosewood owners…call me!”
Consani’s schedule is packed with modeling gigs, and now acting jobs (Peaked, American Horror Story), so while she does want kids eventually, finding her person and starting a family isn’t a huge priority. “Girl, I got a lot going on,” she tells Bazaar. “Definitely by the time I am 35, though.”
