Chicago’s Grant Park was once again the epicenter of music festival season as Lollapalooza returned with a lineup designed to please every corner of the music spectrum. The festivities kicked off with a bang, with headliners like Tyler, the Creator taking the stage on Thursday night.
The following evening kept the vibe strong with a main stage performance from pop princess Olivia Rodrigo. The Grammy award-winning singer brought out Weezer for a surprise appearance, where the two performed “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So.” Other notable acts this weekend include Sabrina Carpenter, A$AP Rocky, Doechii, and more.
Of course, this weekend wasn’t just about the headliners. There’s always an activity and fun to be had at Lolla outside the traditional shows as well. PATRÓN Tequila kept the party going with its two-story Hacienda PATRÓN, a luxe escape activation on the festival grounds. Attendees who made it inside were treated to an unannounced set from electronic duo Two Friends, who turned the space into a sweaty, high-energy club.
With bold performances, unexpected collaborations, and brand activations that gave a boost of energy, Lollapalooza proved once again why it remains the crown jewel of summer’s festival circuit.
