After being at the center of one of the most significant royal controversies in recent history, it appears Andrew may still hold one final ace.
Although sources indicate Andrew has reassured his brother, King Charles, that he won’t “pull a Harry” by writing a bombshell memoir like Spare, he could potentially earn a substantial sum if he changed his mind.
Given that Harry received $20 million to tell his story in 2023, the Daily Mail has reported Andrew could command as much as $30 million for writing his own account, reports Daily Express UK.
The newspaper cited a literary agent as saying: “We’re looking at maybe $30 million. With the right ghost-writer asking him the right questions, we could see the history of the House of Windsor completely rewritten with what he knows.
The agent added: “He’s a time-bomb waiting to explode.”
The money wouldn’t be worth losing his brother’s support, but he may be tempted by the notoriety as he’s been shunned from society for so long. A memoir could possibly make him relative and gain back some respect, depending on what’s inside the book.
Should he proceed with a memoir, there’s one subject he would need to handle with extreme care, it’s being said.
A publishing executive informed the newspaper: “Obviously, everyone wants the inside track on his time with Epstein… in those circumstances, he might be prepared to talk, in broad terms, about his involvement with Epstein, simply to get his side of the story across.”
A source warned that Andrew needs to be cautious with his words to avoid self-incrimination, stating: “But he has to be careful his words don’t incriminate him. The Democrats in the US Congress have asked Andrew to appear before them, and now he no longer has royal immunity, he’d have to tread very, very carefully.”

Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing. However, he did not respond to a deadline last week set by Democrats on the Congressional House Oversight Committee to discuss Jeffrey Epstein.

Speculation about Andrew potentially sharing his side of the story follows an Express report suggesting his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, could earn millions from a tell-all memoir.
The source also claimed that Ferguson is now seriously concerned about maintaining her lifestyle, saying: “For the first time in a good while, she is now seriously worried about how on earth she’s going to maintain her lifestyle. She’s too toxic to touch for every single brand and charity she’d previously worked with, and even the lavish freebies she used to be gifted have stopped.”
