Born out of a quiet morning prayer time at Veronica’s kitchen table, “Praise Him” draws its inspiration directly from Psalm 68:1-4: “Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered… But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God… Sing unto God, sing praises to his name.” What began as Scripture meditation quickly transformed into a deeply personal anthem of perseverance and worship.

The song continued to take shape during an afternoon walk under the hot sun, where Veronica found herself clinging to praise through what she describes as a dark and disturbing season. The lyrics became life-giving-an intentional declaration of faith in the midst of difficulty.

Taking a bold creative risk, Veronica proposed recording the track completely acapella. Initially met with cautious concern, the duo quickly realized after recording the first chorus that the stripped-back approach allowed the message to shine with striking clarity and intimacy. Now, the song comes to life visually in a stunning 4K music video that took six months to complete. Though Angelo initially preferred to stay behind the scenes, he ultimately agreed to appear in the video-adding a personal touch that longtime fans will appreciate.
