ARCHERS have released a new music video!
The new track, Get Paid, marks the latest release from the Wisconsin-based rock trio and follows on from their previous single, Say So, which was released earlier this year. The song blends drum and bass-inspired loops, sharp guitar work, soulful vocals, and hard-hitting percussion into a mid-tempo anthem centred on broken trust and deteriorating relationships.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Nathanael Pulley shares, “things don’t always go to plan. Sometimes the people you trust the most let you down. I think everyone in some way or another can relate to channeling hurt into anger. That can easily turns spiteful. Sometimes it feels satisfying to lash out and be rash. Even if that isn’t always the best option.”
Directed by Blackwolf Imaging, the accompanying music video captures the theme of making the best out of difficult situations while bringing the song’s frustration and defiance to life.
