The MOLLIE Aspen will host Martini & Frites Après from 3-8 p.m. Dec. 26 on their Roof Terrace, located at 111 S. Mountainfilm on Tour, Dec. 26

Heading to Aspen, Mountainfilm on Tour will screen a selection of family-friendly films from 4-5:15 p.m. Dec. 26 at the Wheeler Opera House. A vibrant lineup of short, inspiring documentaries celebrating curiosity in nature, youth adventure, creative legacy, ocean stewardship, and personal courage from backyard bug safaris and Swiss sledding to Alaskan rides, alpine highlines, and overcoming fear. Boombassador, Dec. 26

Boombassador will play with Heady Hooligan at 8 p.m. Dec. 26 at The Arts Campus At Willits. The Polish Ambassador started as an experiment, and now David Sugalski’s sound-art passion project comes to life as an inventive, imaginary character bor Bold Keyboard shortcut Command+Bn.

Today, TPA is among the premier EDM/live crossover artists in the country and founder of independent label Jumpsuit Records, an environmentalist and early progenitor of the permaculture action movement. Electronic rock duo BoomBox, made up of brothers Zion Rock Godchaux and Kinsman MacKay, brings heavy organic grooves and soulful beats with a signature type of groove rooted in a back-beat driven style, smooth vocals, and original lyrics. A special holiday walking tour of Aspen’s historic sites and stories will be hosted from 1:30-3 p.m. Dec. 27, starting off in front of the Wheeler Opera House, located at 320 E. Hyman Street. The host will share a brief history at Sister Cities Plaza at Wagner Park and then weave through the decorated downtown core before concluding at the iconic, holiday‑decked Hotel Jerome. ‘An Evening with Kate Hudson,’ Dec. 27

“An Evening with Kate Hudson,” featuring Hudson and her band, is set for 7:30-9 p.m. Dec. 27 at the Wheeler Opera House, 320 E. Hyman Ave. She returns to Aspen with her band for a special performance to celebrate her debut album, “Glorious.” The album features 12 original songs that blend cinematic pop and modern. Raised between Colorado’s mountains and California’s beaches, Hudson draws on decades of influences across genres. Hank Azaria and the EZ Street Band, Dec. 28

A distance runner with records to his name and chief executive officer of The Atlantic, his book is partly a memoir and partly a field guide to endurance.
