The eyes (and ears) of classical music fans were turned towards Bristol this weekend as the BBC Proms made their second visit to the city.
Performances at The Bristol Beacon and St Georges packed in thousands over the weekend, and there is more to come on Sunday.
Up on the Downs there was a different vibe as Forwards Festival, which also continues on Sunday, returned, while Old City Sounds laid on free performances at different points in the centre.
Elsewhere GCSE students have been celebrating, as have Bristol Rovers fans after a tricky start to the season.
Coming alive: Old City Sounds returned on Saturday, featuring a big selection of music at grassroots venues from jazz, to Irish folk and DJs.
Community Work: A new scheme offering access to leisure facilities to staff from organisations working with different communities in Bristol has been launched. Everyone Active, which has gyms across the city, has announced its first two applicants. The two are Bristol City Robins Foundation and Knives Down, Guards Up.
Top team: The endoscopy team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is celebrating achieving a top national award for excellence, being granted JAG accreditation from the Joint Advisory Group on GI Endoscopy, in recognition of the excellent care they provide patients.
