BigHit Music, the agency behind boy band BTS, is now accepting applications for a free professional hip-hop training program for male teens, the company announced Monday.
Titled “BigHit Music Hit It Base 2026,” the program is open to males born between 2008 and 2016 who aspire to be hip-hop musicians.
The application window opened on Monday. The music agency will receive applications through June 28.
Twenty final candidates will be selected to undergo a 10-session training on weekends, spanning from the history of hip-hop to music composition and styling. It will kick off on July 11 and run through Aug. 9.
On Aug. 16, the selected teenagers will present their works at the program’s “Final Show” held at Seongam Art Hall in Gangnam District, southern Seoul. Dancer Aiki will host the show and rapper NOW IM Young will deliver a performance as a guest artist.
Applications can be submitted online via the agency’s audition website. The applicants are required to submit a short clip and a front-facing photo. The clip can be either a video showing their rap performance, a self-introduction video or a video explaining their favorite hip-hop track, according to the agency.
