Blake Shelton’s ‘The Road’ airs Oklahoma Ranch episode. Here’s what you missed, how to watch

All roads lead to Oklahoma City. In this week’s episode, Keith Urban and Blake Shelton’s “The Road” came to downtown Oklahoma City, where cast members performed at Oklahoma Ranch.

The Paramount show stopped for the first of two shows at the Bricktown OKC bar and country dance hall, where the remaining nine contestants on the singing show competed to survive another week on the tour.

The episode was filmed in the spring of 2025, and only documented the first half of the Oklahoma City stop.

The show, hosted by Shelton and Urban, aims to give budding country artists the experience of a real tour as they make their way through the South performing for live crowds.

Cody Hibbard, 32, of Adair, was set to perform for the crowd, yet began feeling ill, and continued. Hibbard previously had been experiencing pain from kidney stones and after the new spurt of pain, thought that was the culprit yet again.

“You just work through it and cowboy up,” Hibbard said after taking some pain medication and performing live for the Oklahoma Ranch crowd.

Nonetheless, his performance of Lee Ann Womack’s “A Little Past Little Rock” moved the crowd just as much as his original song “Had it Been a Boy.”

While Hibbard was not crowned the top performer, he did make it out of the night not in the bottom spot, before Keith Urban decided to end Forrest McCurren’s time on “The Road.”
