Brad Pitt reportedly has no immediate plans to remarry, despite suggestions that his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, is becoming “part of the family.”
The 62-year-old Once Upon A Time in Hollywood star has been dating 33-year-old de Ramon since 2022. De Ramon is said to be adored by Pitt‘s family, who allegedly no longer regard her as his “girlfriend” and instead see her as a family member.
However, a source has dismissed suggestions that Pitt intends to formalize this, with the comments arriving just over a year after his highly publicized and contentious divorce from Angelina Jolie was finalized after eight years. This comes after Jolie took a final swipe at Pitt.
A source told Page Six about how integrated de Ramon had become with the Pitts, “They absolutely adore her and she’s been welcomed with open arms from the beginning. At this point they basically consider her family and one of their own.”
They also revealed that “it never feels like she’s ‘Brad’s girlfriend'” and that de Ramon and his family maintain regular contact, especially his siblings, nieces and nephews.
Nevertheless, the source stated, “But Brad has no plans on getting married despite how close Ines has become with everyone.”
These remarks follow speculation about the couple’s engagement after four years together.
When the pair first became involved, Pitt and his ex-wife, Jolie, were still in the midst of their divorce. The two began dating in 2006 but didn’t tie the knot until 2014.
The marriage lasted two years before Jolie filed for divorce, which was finalized in December 2024.
Speaking to GQ last year, Pitt rejected the notion that finalizing his divorce after eight years of legal proceedings and battles brought him relief.
He said, “No, I don’t think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally.”
Throughout their marriage, the couple had six children: Maddox, 24; Pax, 22; Zahara, 21; Shiloh, 19; and Knox and Vivienne, both 17.
Few maintain contact with Pitt, with Page Six reporting only that Pax continues to have a relationship with “his dad’s side of the family.”
His son Maddox has dropped Pitt from his surname. The 24-year-old submitted paperwork requesting to legally change his name to Maddox Chivan Jolie.
Shiloh also legally changed her name, while Zahara and Vivienne have informally removed Pitt.
Pitt was previously married to Jennifer Aniston. The pair were first photographed together in 1998, following the end of his engagement to Gwyneth Paltrow, and wed two years later. They divorced in 2005.
De Ramon, meanwhile, was married to Vampire Diaries actor Paul Wesley. Pitt has also dismissed suggestions that his first public appearance with de Ramon at a Formula One race was “calculated.”
He stated that living like that would be “exhausting” and that his relationship with de Ramon simply “evolved.”
