A casting company, Alessi Hartigan Casting, that has TV- and film credits such as “Hawaii Five-0,” “Magnum P.I.,” “NCIS: Hawai‘i,” “Rescue: HI-Surf,” “Lilo & Stitch,” “Moana” and “Pirates of the Caribbean,” has an open casting call for a new teen drama series filming this summer in Hawaii.
As Hawaii’s entertainment casting opportunities are rare for youth, this is an opportunity to be involved in a large entertainment production, as well as a paid summer job.
Those with no acting experience are encouraged to apply because the casting agency is looking for more Hawaii-based submissions, especially teens and young adults ages 16-25 who can play high schoolers ages 15-18. The production is open to all backgrounds and is looking for “big personalities, unique stories, and authentic energy.”
Filming dates are July 20 through mid September and the deadline to apply is June 30.
