Britney Spears made a surprise cameo on Kim Kardashian’s social media, as she reunited with the reality star and her sister for a rare night out.
The singer, 43, appeared in Kardashian’s Instagram Story on Friday, Nov. 14, in a photo alongside her sister, Khloe Kardashian, 41, and Spears’ manager, Cade Hudson.
While Spears is no stranger to social media, and recently took to her Instagram in lingerie to give fans life advice, the post with the Kardashian siblings was a rare one for the star, who usually appears solo in her posts.
In the images, which Kardashian captioned “Calabasas Nights,” the group lounged together on a bed and made silly faces at the camera.
The meetup marks the first time the two were seen together in 13 years, after they were last photographed together at a 2012 Grammy Awards party.
For the new get-together, the group kept things casual, with Kim wearing a black robe and keeping her hair slicked-back in a bun, while Khloe opted for Christmas-themed pajamas and loose waves.
Spears, meanwhile, opted for a yellow-and-white ensemble, while Hudson wore a Mickey Mouse T-shirt, dark hoodie, and baseball cap.
Nearly a decade after their last known meet-up, the SKIMS founder expressed her admiration for Spears after watching the 2021 documentary Framing Britney Spears, which chronicled her infamous 13-year conservatorship.
“The way the media played a big role in her life the way it did can be very traumatizing and it can really break even the strongest person,” Kardashian wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “Not matter how public someone’s life may seem, no one deserves to be treated with such cruelty or judgment for entertainment.”

After public struggles with her mental health in the early 2000s, Spears was placed under a conservatorship that was run by her father, Jamie Spears, and Jodi Montgomery, which laster for more than a decade before being dissolved.
Her struggle to be freed from the restrictive control led to a massive movement from fans known as #FreeBritney, as she also went public with her desires to be freed from the arrangement.
A judge terminated the guardianship in November 2021.
Following its end, she married Sam Ashgari in June 2022. The two split just 14 months later, with their divorce being finalized in December 2024.
