A trio of marmalade and fruit spreads available for sale on the As Ever site (screen grab)

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has never revealed any sales or inventory data for her As Ever brand, even as it slowly fixed supply problems that bedevilled its website for much of 2025.

Now, we know a bit more, thanks to a glitch in the As Ever ordering system that allowed online sleuths to figure out the level of stock on hand. They figured out how to exploit the glitch by trying to place massive orders – think 500,000 jars of marmalade – so that the As Ever website would come back with a message that the order was too large, then reveal exactly how many jars of marmalade could be ordered.

The bug has been fixed, but not before those sleuths tracked stock levels for all the 15–odd items on the As Ever site.

Among the items are:

The numbers are accurate, Newsweek confirmed, meaning Meghan’s site has around US$20 million in stock, on a retail cost basis. With that detailed inventory information spreading online, Meghan’s side revealed that the roughly 225,000 jars of fruit spread on hand is all that remains of an order of one million jars, according to the Times. That means she sold 80 percent of her order to buyers in the continental United States in the last few months. That’s quite an achievement for such a new site.

The future of the As Ever brand, which is sold in association with Netflix, will need to expand sales, likely through a combination of having existing customers order more of the expensive products, getting As Ever products sold by third party vendors, including bricks-and-mortar stores, and expanding As Ever’s markets (right now, it only ships to customers in the continental United States).

The civil trial between Prince Harry and six other claimants, including Elton John and his husband David Furnish, and the publisher of the Daily Mail starts this week in London. It could last nine weeks and cost each side upward of $38 million.

While in the United Kingdom to testify, the Duke of Sussex is unlikely to meet his dad as the King won’t want to appear to support – however tacitly – his son’s strategy of suing the media.

Now, there’s talk of Harry extending “a major olive branch,” which is an odd way to say he wants his father to do him a big favour by opening the Invictus Games in Birmingham in July 2027. Apparently, having Charles III at the event will resolve all the family angst that has built up in the past decade or so.

Yet, at last count, the Invictus Games won’t occur for another 18 months, so why is the Sussex side pushing so hard to get the invitation reported by the media as a sign of reconciliation between the Montecito and UK branches of the House of Windsor?
