SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Immerse yourself in the spirit of New Orleans alongside marine mammals and spectacular ocean creatures at SeaWorld San Diego’s Mardi Gras celebration.
The festivities run from Jan. 24 to Feb. 22 on select days and are packed with entertainment, lively parades, interactive performances, and Cajun-inspired cuisine that will delight the taste buds of all ages.
The festivities are included with park admission and are free for Pass Members.

Here is the line-up for SeaWorld San Diego’s Mardi Gras event:
Live DJ, Ukulele Jesters & Fire Dance: Expect the festivities to melt away the ice caps in the Wild Arctic Plaza as a live DJ and Ukulele Jesters will start off the day, followed by a thrilling fire dance that will light up the night sky. Festive food and drinks will be available throughout.
Royal Mardi Gras Parade: A lively parade will take over the park featuring colorful floats, the jazz band, No Bad News, as well as singers, dancers and jesters.
Live Music: New Orleans and Mardi Gras-themed music will keep you dancing with the fishes, as the aforementioned No Bad News jazz band will be jamming at the SkyTower Lawn on select days.
Mardi Gras Performers & Activities: The SkyTower stage will host talented SeaWorld performers donning bright costumes and celebrating the Cajun culture.
Tunnel of Lights: Walk (or dance) through a shimmering tunnel of over 5,000 colorful lights that are music-activated.
Mardi Gras inspired food, such as jambalaya and gumbo, will be available at the SkyTower Lawn and Wild Arctic Plaza. And for the adults, New Orleans-inspired cocktails will also be whipped up, including mint juleps and green apple frozen margaritas.
