WASHINGTON (TNND) — Los Angeles mayoral candidate and reality TV star Spencer Pratt has been getting support from fellow celebrities for his race, including Paris Hilton.
Some reality TV stars and podcast hosts have been showing support for Pratt throughout his bid for mayor, according to the Daily Mail.
Last week, Paris Hilton commented on one of Pratt’s Instagram posts, writing “Spencer for Mayor.”
Podcast host Joe Rogan interviewed Pratt last month and even though he can’t cote for him, he said Pratt has his support.
“I can’t vote for you, but I’m rooting for you,” Rogan said during the interview. “I mean, if I lived in Los Angeles, no question whatsoever, I would vote for you.”
While actress Selma Blair did not come outright and endorse Pratt, she commented “Solid” on one of his Instagram posts.
Actor James Woods endorsed Pratt in a post on X last week.
“Spencer Pratt is surprisingly effective, direct, polite, and prepared in tonight’s debate,” Woods said on X following the mayoral debate.”The other two have history as their enemy because everything they’ve done has been a catastrophe. He can absolutely win this thing.”
TMZ reported that Jeanie Buss, the controlling owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, donated to his campaign in April.
Pratt lost his home in the Palisades Fire last year. He said he was running because he knows the consequences of failed leadership.
