A new series of Celebrity Bake Off premiered this weekend, with a new guest judge entering the tent.
A new judge has joined the cast of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer, with fans left saying the same thing.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that pastry chef Cherish Finden would be stepping in as judge for the upcoming celebrity series.
The Bake Off: The Professionals judge will be joining Paul Hollywood in the tent, alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding. It comes after Prue Leith announced that she was quitting the main show after nine series, with Nigella Lawson replacing her.
The latest series of Celebrity Bake Off returned to Channel 4 on Sunday (March 22), with Alison introducing the “very special” guest judge. Fans quickly took to social media to share their thoughts on Cherish entering the tent.
“YES to Cherish! What a fab edition to the tent!” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Another added: “More excited than usual for Celebrity Bake Off starting tonight because Cherish Finden is finally in the tent and I have waited for this day through 10 seasons of Bake Off Professionals,” while a third said: “Should be good. Great line-up.”
A fourth fan echoed the sentiment, saying: “B****y love Cherish, would rather her on than Nigella!!” with another similarly sharing: “I am loving Cherish, she’s my new fave judge.”
Cherish previously said that she was “delighted to be joining Paul in judging Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C”.
She added: “Whilst I definitely haven’t left my ruler at home, judging these wonderful celebrities is about more than just precision, it’s about spreading joy and supporting a meaningful cause.”
The series sees a host of famous faces enter the tent to try and impress the judges with their bakes in the Signature, Technical and Showstopper challenges. This year’s celebrities include former Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa, Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague, former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Vicky Pattison, and actor Emmett J Scanlan.
The first episode saw a group of returning comedians enter the tent, including reigning star baker Joe Wilkinson, Roisin Conaty, Rose Matafeo, Judi Love, Tom Davis, and Jon Richardson.
They first attempted to bake breakfast pastries in the Signature challenge, with Rose earning a Hollywood handshake.
Cherish then set the group the task of baking matcha and yuzu biscuits for the Technical. The vegan sandwich biscuits needed to be flower shaped, and filled with a smooth ganache.
After Jon came first in the Technical, the comedians concluded the episode by recreating the weirdest places that they’ve ever slept in cake form, in a bid to win star baker.
