Chris Hemsworth is feeling grateful for the quality time spent with his kids.
On Tuesday, April 7, the actor, 42, shared a roundup of photos from a recent surf trip to Hawaii with his kids on Instagram. In the snaps, Hemsworth can be seen catching waves alongside his twin sons, Sasha and Tristan, 12, as well as cliff jumping and spending time with some friends by the water.
“Another amazing surf trip with my kids. Always a big dream of mine to be able to check the forecast, pack the bags and Chase some surf with them,” he wrote. “I’ll never take it for granted. It felt like overnight things went from me teaching them to surf to them making me feel completely inadequate as they dominate the lineup with such confidence! 😂🤙 massive thank you to @1hotel.hanaleibay for taking care of us.”

Hemsworth shares his twin boys as well as his daughter, India Rose, 13, with wife Elsa Pataky.
In February, the couple gave rare insight into life with their three children in Australia in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE.
“It feels like summer all year round where we live,” Hemsworth said.
“We got a big plot of land, a farm with horses, and our kids surf and fish and ride motorbikes all day,” he continued, then adding with a smile, “And we pretty much do the same.”

The family moved from the United States to Australia in 2015. They live in Byron Bay, a surf town just south of Australia’s Gold Coast.
According to Pataky, a big part of what makes the family’s life in Australia so special is the time they spend together outdoors.
“It’s just being able to enjoy nature. When we go to a city, it’s hard for us as a family, because we live outside, basically,” she shared. “We are in contact with nature all the time.”
