Chris Pratt hits disappointment, ‘panics’ after movie, ‘Mercy’ flops
Chris Pratt, who recently starred in a movie, Mercy with Rebecca Ferguson, has been said to be upset about the results.
The movie, which was directed by Timur Bekmambetov, was a disappointment in the theaters as it failed in the box office.
Following the snub, the movie also received criticism over how similar it seemed like to the 2002 sci-fi classic, Minority Report.
According to the Daily Mail, the Guardian of the Galaxy star has been “shaken” up by the “traumatising” results as it received a Metacritic score of 34/100.
The insider revealed, “Chris is panicking. Full stop, This is the first time he’s really feeling his age in Hollywood—and it’s shaken him.”
Another source also stated, “Chris genuinely didn’t see this coming, He believed his name alone could open a movie. Now? He’s spiraling.”
It was also disclosed that the box office snub has made him obsessed with the ratings and reviews.
It is to be noted that the 46-year-old is a renowned star, who has worked in hits like Jurassic World, The Terminal List, and the Marvel franchise.
For the unversed, Chris is set to star to return as the voice of the titular cat, Garfield, in 2027.
