Christina Haack may have reignited an old feud with ex-husband Josh Hall after she revealed a disturbing incident that she claimed occurred during their relationship.
The HGTV star, 42, told People that she initially turned down Hall’s proposal for marriage, adding that he “threw the ring in the pool” after she said “no.”
“That was probably red flag number one,” she told the outlet in an interview published Wednesday, October 1. “I don’t think anyone’s ever heard that story before. Sorry. It’s true.”
Shortly after the interview was posted, Hall, 44, took to his social media page and shared a quote about “liars” on his Instagram Story.

“Never argue with liars,” the quote read. “You can’t win, because they believe their own lies.”
Despite their tumultuous divorce – which was settled in August, more than a year after they filed – Haack has moved on from their relationship drama.
“I don’t look at it as starting over, and especially for the fourth time,” she told the outlet. “It does feel like a fresh start in that for once I’m actually in control of my destiny, and that feels really good.”
“I’m not going to say I have it all together. I’m still learning,” she added. “I’m still a work in progress. And I’m grateful for my mistakes.”
The Flip or Flop alum has since moved on with her new boyfriend, CEO Chris Larocca.
