BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The City of Bryan is partnering with a sports entertainment company to look into redevelopment options for Travis Major Field, Midtown Park, and the surrounding areas.
The agreement, announced on Tuesday, kicks off a six-month feasibility study led by REV Entertainment to evaluate Travis Major Field’s potential as part of the city’s growing sports and tourism economy.
REV Entertainment is the official sports and entertainment partner of the Texas Rangers.

Officials said the study is not a commitment to construction or renovation. It’s strictly exploratory at this point.
“REV Entertainment brings a high level of experience and a national reputation in sports and venue development,” said Bryan Mayor Bobby Gutierrez. “We look forward to seeing what their analysis produces as we explore the best opportunities to maximize Travis Major Field that will complement Legends Event Center and the entire Travis Bryan Midtown Park for future generations.”
As part of the project, REV Entertainment will create design concepts for field renovations and other area developments. The company will also provide a proposed budget, project timeline, and a strategy for year-round, multi-use programming.

Travis Major Field was built in the 1940s and has been a staple of local athletics for decades.
The city later told KBTX the six-month study will not exceed $85,000.
