Country music icon Terri Clark has been sharing a heartbreaking situation with fans, and now she is asking for everyone to pray.
The situation?
Clark shared a photo of herself with her dachshund, Charlie, to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Please say a prayer for my baby. She’s having a procedure done today.”
Parade Magazine reported that her fans immediately started to flood her with prayers and well-wishes.
“May God direct the hands of the vet doing the surgery!” one person responded. “God bless.”
“We love you, Charlie!” another wrote. “Big hugs to all of you. Sending prayers and well-wishes to Miss Charlie!”
According to Parade, Clark has a history of showing love for her pets, and the outlet said that Charlie, a miniature dachshund is nearly 14 years old.
She even shared a video showing off her pets and said, “They become your entire life and they rule the roost and run the show around her. They’re my kids and I love them so much.”
She shared in the caption, “Dogs. They are the best. So thankful for organizations like @PetCommunityCenter that provide affordable and accessible veterinary care to the community. If you are looking for someone to bless on #GivingTuesday, please keep them in mind!”
As Parade noted, Clark rose to fame in the 1990s, and the outlet said she “become one of country music’s defining female voices” during that decade.
The 57 year old released her self-titled debut album in 1995, followed by “Just the Same” in 1996 and “How I Feel” in 1998, and all there were certified platinum in Canada and the United States.
