Garth Brooks appears to have big plans for 2026.
The country music legend appeared to tease new music and a potential tour on his official website on Tuesday.
“I’m an artist, I HAVE to make music,” Brooks said, adding that nothing is off the table. “And I’m an entertainer, so I HAVE to take the music to the people.”
One of the true icons of country music, Brooks, 63, has been blending traditional country with rock and pop energy for decades. He is among the best-selling solo artists in music history.
Top hits include “Friends in Low Places,” “The Dance,” “If Tomorrow Never Comes, ”The Thunder Rolls” and “Rodeo,” among many others.
Brooks last performed in Michigan right before the COVID-19 pandemic at Ford Field in Detroit in February 2020.
He is already attached to two major shows in 2026: Summerfest at Milwaukee’s American Family Insurance Amphitheater on June 16 and June 17 and Hyde Park in London with Ashley McBryde and Zac Brown Band on June 27.
“My bride is touring through the first half of the year,” Brooks said. “Then we will see what may be waiting for us in the second half.”
Brooks last released new music in 2023 with his 12th studio album, “Time Traveler,” which explores the history of country music.
