OSHKOSH – The best is yet to come.
Two of country music’s biggest stars are already set to headline the next XRoads41 festival, with multi-platinum singer Jason Aldean and Grammy Award-winning artist Lainey Wilson slated to take the stage for the 2026 show.
Festival directors Oshkosh Festivals LLC couldn’t confirm next year’s acts because of contractual obligations, but the news was announced multiple times during the just-concluded three-day concert at Oshkosh Festivals Park.
Aldean and Wilson are expected to give XRoads41 the massive star appeal the festival hasn’t quite had with regards to country music over the first two editions of the concert.
Widely regarded as a superstar in the genre, Aldean, 48, has a double-platinum certified album in “Night Train” and four others that have also gone platinum.
He’s received five Grammy Award nominations while producing 30 No. 1 singles on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, including “Amarillo Sky,” “She’s Country,” “You Make It Easy” and “Whiskey Drink.”

News of Aldean and Wilson’s inclusion for next year’s XRoads41 comes just days after this year’s festival attracted 41,500 people, bettering the 2024 attendance of 28,500 from the inaugural show.
“We are blown away by the passion and energy our fans brought this year,” said Oshkosh Festivals General Manager Corey Bliss in a news release. “From the incredible performances to the new features we introduced, 2025 was truly a milestone year forXRoads41.”

Oshkosh Festivals LLC Marketing Director Mindy Klein said the new additions were also a hit with patrons, as XRoads41 featured a second stage, a new layout for the VIP lounge area, a campground hub, themed days and a Ferris wheel on the festival grounds.
“So many patrons have been telling us how great the artists were and what an amazing atmosphere we had, and that’s great considering the support we have been getting in just our second year,” Klein told the Northwestern. “We’re still evaluating everything that was added to see what works and what doesn’t work, but we will definitely be building on the experiences of our patrons.”
When is XRoads41 music festival in 2026?
Next year’s festival is slated for Aug. 6-8 and the organizers are already offering a limited presale through Aug. 15 “with the guaranteed lowest price for 2026 tickets.”
Klein said the 2026 show will be adding a super VIP pit right next to the stage and redefining new ticket types with different price points for fans standing and seating general admission.
