Country music star John Rich took to social media over the weekend to ask his fans help in tracking down a thief.
“I WAS ROBBED!” Rich posted on X. “Someone stole my ATV. It’s a Polaris Sportsmen 850. Pay close attention to the tires. Very unique. If you find this for sale anywhere online, take a screen shot and post it in the comments! IF you help me find it, I’ll send you an autographed guitar 🙂 REPOST!”
Rich shared a photo of the ATV with his post.
“I really appreciate all of you ‘keeping an eye out’ for this,” he added in another X post on Sunday. “My main goal is to find out WHO the thief is. He’s gonna have a very bad if we can find him.”
Plenty of fans and followers said they were keeping their eyes open for the singer, but many were also not optimistic when it came to his chances of recovering the stolen vehicle.
“99% these are parted out and this one probably has already,” Mark Ruefer responded. “If still intact, person is contemplating how to return and not get in trouble. You have a 1% chance on that but better odds than winning powerball.”
“I suggest you just move on with your life, just as all the other people who have had their cars stolen have done,” another responded. “Buy another one of these things, and be more careful with it.”
Others suggested that the singer should put Airtags on all of his vehicles moving forward.”
It does seem like a longshot, but there are certainly plenty of eyes looking for it.
