D4vd had reportedly been living at the Los Angeles residence searched by authorities Wednesday night as part of the investigation into the death of Celeste Rivas, whose decomposing body was found in the singer’s impounded Tesla last week.
TMZ reports that D4vd’s manger at Interscope, Josh Marshall, is renting the home — photos of which the 20-year-old “Romantic Homicide” singer appeared to have shared on Instagram in February. The images match those of the Zillow page for the house that was searched, according to the outlet.
Sources told KABC that D4vd had been staying at the home, from which authorities seized multiple items including a computer. It’s unclear how long or how recently D4vd had been at the residence.
Back in February, the Queens-born singer shared clips of himself at the home, spending time with the likes of music producer Benny Blanco, currently engaged to Selena Gomez, and the group Katseye. D4vd, Blanco and Katseye are all represented by Universal Music Group-owned Interscope.

Hours earlier, authorities confirmed that the remains found in D4vd’s missing car belonged to 15-year-old Rivas, who disappeared in April 2024 from her family’s home in Lake Elsinore, California, about 76 miles southeast of where the vehicle was abandoned in the Hollywood Hills. Rivas was just 13 when she went missing.
Insiders then told TMZ that D4vd, who has reportedly been cooperating with the cops, was halting his world tour.
Rivas’ mom told the outlet her daughter had been dating someone named David. Both Rivas and D4vd reportedly sported “Shhh …” ink on their right index fingers, as was done by multiple celebrities in the 2000s.
On Thursday, the outlet reported that D4vd leaked a song in late 2023 titled, “Celeste _Demo unfin,” in which he croons, “Oh, Celeste / The girl with my name tattooed on her chest … I hear her voice each time I take a breath / I’m obsessed.”
