Danielle Fishel is all in when it comes to Dancing With the Stars season 34.
As the latest installment of the ABC series airs every Tuesday night, the Boy Meets World alum is one of the celebs hitting the dance floor each week. Ahead of DWTS‘ official TikTok Night on September 30, though, Danielle had fans concerned when she shared an unexpected downside to being part of the show.
Uploading an Instagram video on September 26, Danielle alarmed fans by revealing a leg injury in between rehearsals. As viewers saw her sport a bruise all up and down her right leg, the actress assured her followers that the health issue isn’t as bad as it seems upon first glance.
“I promise my leg feels better than it looks 😂 @dancingwiththestars,” she wrote in the caption.
After seeing her post, some of the star’s celebrity friends reached out to lend her support.
“What the heck! 😳,” Matthew Lawrence wrote in the comments. “Wowsa!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ take care!” Kate Flannery exclaimed. “Ouch. Feel better soon,” Alyssa Milano added.
And if that’s not enough, fans immediately rallied around Danielle as she recovers from her rehearsal injury.
“Are you sure you haven’t been Wrestling with the Stars? That’s some bruise!!!! 😳,” one person penned. “Ouch!! I’m praying for smooth and quick healing!! ❤️🩹🙏❤️ 😘 Love watching you dance!! So proud of you!! ❤️🥰,” another declared. “Dang girl!! Keep killing it! We love you!” a different follower commented.
Even though Danielle is doing alright, she did share that Dancing With the Stars has been no joke on her body. As she shared with Us Weekly earlier in September, she had suffered a hamstring tear, leading her to get a deep tissue massage and break all the blood vessels in her right leg.
“I had to meet with a surgeon to see if I needed surgery on top of an already kind of grueling rehearsal schedule,” she told the outlet. “To find time to take care of myself has been, probably, the biggest challenge.”
“[Danielle’s] like, ‘Now let’s keep [the dance] exactly the way it is,'” her dance partner Pasha Pashkov added. “So, I’m just asking her to listen to her body and we go based off of that.”
