It is starting to feel a lot like Drake album season. The 38-year-old rapper might have just teased a forthcoming United States tour.
On Monday evening, the Toronto superstar took to Instagram to share footage from his current tour in Europe alongside PARTYNEXTDOOR. Only, it was less about recapping $ome $pecial $hows 4 U, and more about showing a blueprint for the stage and various forms of ice. His forthcoming album is believed to be called ICEMAN, and “What Did I Miss?” played in the background of the clip, so the clip very much so felt like a sign of what was to come.
To cap it all off, the caption read: “Coming To A City Near You.” Now, Drizzy and PND will be on the road in Europe and the UK well into September, but given how the 6 God spent most of 2023 and the first third of 2024 on the road for It’s All A Blur – Big As The What?, it would not be a surprise if he announced a North American tour soon. Time will tell, but check out the teaser below.
The RIAA record-breaking artist recently shared two singles: “What Did I Miss?” on July 4, and “Which One?” featuring Central Cee at the very end of last month. In between releases, he headlined three nights of Wireless Festival in London, where he was joined by Lauryn Hill, Vanessa Carlton, Bobby V. Giveon, Vybz Kartel, Rema, 21 Savage, Latto, Sexyy Red, and more.
Earlier this year, the father of one ventured throughout Australia on the Anita Max Win tour and released $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, a joint R&B album with PND. The LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and featured the No. 2 hit “Nokia” and the No. 6 hit “Gimme A Hug.”
