Kyle hasn’t been completely honest with Claire about what happened in Nice. He never shared the sordid details of what really went down between him and Audra. And yet, fans of The Young and the Restless caught him in another lie. They noticed that he’s been feeding her the same line he’s used before.
Never Knew Love Like This Before
In his recent conversations with Claire (Hayley Erin), Kyle (Michael Mealor—who hasn’t given up on a Claire and Kyle reunion) said he’s never felt this way before. However, fans remember when he used to say that about Lola (Sasha Calle).
Over on one soap opera message board, the original poster exclaimed, “WOW! Kyle tells Claire he’s never felt like this.” The fans aren’t fooled by this line. One fan wrote, “Kyle has said that about 20 times already. He’s OTT with this nonsense.”
This conversation was also brought up on Reddit. The original poster wrote, “Kyle’s endless declarations of his ‘deep love’ for Claire, the apologies for hurting her sound exactly what he used to say to Lola.”
One Redditor responded, “It’s frustrating to me that no one brings up Lola because it’s definitely the EXACT same thing he used to say to her.”
In fact, many fans see similarities between Claire and Lola since they both came from humble backgrounds. Also, Kyle was their first serious boyfriend. Fans would like to see him address his former relationship with Lola and realize he’s not being honest once again.
Using The Same Line On Multiple Women?
While most fans are getting flashbacks to Kyle and Lola, others remembered when Kyle used this same line on Summer (Allison Lanier—who is OUT as Summer Newman). Interestingly enough, he used it on her when he first started dating Claire.
“Kyle actually said it to Summer’s face. It was earlier in the year when Kyle and Claire first started dating. Summer was stunned, and Kyle did apologize that it wasn’t a dig at her,” one fan wrote on the soap opera message board.
“Kyle has also said the same thing about Summer and about Lola; he is a broken record, new girl, same old line,” someone else noted.
