Disney Confirms Toy Story 5 Recasting For Mr. And Mrs. Potato Head After The Deaths Of Original Stars

Alongside the release of the Toy Story 5 trailer, Disney has confirmed which actors are now voicing Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head after Don Rickles and Estelle Harris passed away.

Rickles originated the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the very first Toy Story film in 1995. The end of the movie introduced Mrs. Potato Head off-screen, with Harris joining the cast opposite Rickles starting with Toy Story 2. After Rickles died in 2017, Pixar used existing audio recordings to keep the actor in that role for Toy Story 4. Harris passed away in 2022.
