The brilliant trailer for psychological thriller Send Help has been unveiled, which you can watch above. The new movie features Game Night’s Rachel McAdams and Twinless’ Dylan O’Brien as two colleagues who get stranded on a desert island.
Helmed by legendary Spider-Man and Evil Dead director Sam Raimi, the first trailer begins with McAdams’s character Linda at the mercy of her horrible boss Bradley (O’Brien) at the office, as he threatens to let her go.
However, after a plane for their work trip crashes, Linda and Bradley find themselves the only survivors. The tables then turn as the boss finds himself injured and at the mercy of his colleague.
“We’re not in the office anymore, Bradley,” she reminds him, before we see some terror-filled images, including a blood soaked Linda and a terrified Bradley.
“You are stuck with an asshole boss, just like I was. Although I’m betting I’m a much nicer boss than you ever would’ve been… except for maybe this part,” she adds while threateningly holding a knife.

Raimi called the movie’s original pitch “outrageous and original” in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, teasing that the film tracks the two characters in conflict “as their power dynamic [changes] dramatically”.
“I knew right away that I wanted to direct this picture,” he added.
The director also described Send Help as “an underdog tale at its core” and “a story of female empowerment and transformation”.

“Watching a once-powerful boss find himself dependent on someone he underestimated is satisfying,” he added. “Our story is universal!
“We need to encourage our society to treat people with respect and kindness, regardless of status. It’s especially rewarding to see our heroine, Linda, come into her own in such an unexpected environment.”
Alongside the two stars, the movie also features 24’s Dennis Haysbert, Palm Springs’ Chris Pang and Bad Genius’ Thaneth Warakulnukroh in supporting roles.
Send Help is due out in UK cinemas on 6 February, 2026.
