DORSET — The Dorset Players, along with Kitchens of Vermont, present the 21st Annual One-Act Festival.
This celebration of the short form play will be at the Dorset Playhouse, 104 Cheney Rd., on Feb. 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m., and March 1 at 2 p.m. The show sponsor is attorney Kevin O’Toole.

Many facets of life will be explored through six short plays that fit into the theme of Community:
Meet Me in the Endive by Susan Middaugh and directed by Carolyn Stellatella; The Love Language of Lions by Karina Jutzi and directed by Janet Groom; a classic by Shirley Jackson The Lottery; How We Win by Mark Dalton directed by Mark Dalton and Diane Liccardi; The Laundromat by Marsha Norman, directed by Cheryl Gushee; and The Bargain by Kathryn Funkhouser, directed by Debbie Warnock.
Laughs, gasps and devilish surprises abound in this annual weekend of quick storytelling.
Opening night cash bar by Haystack Catering opens at 6:30 p.m.
