Drake Previews Collaborations With Yeat and Cash Cobain on ‘Iceman’ Livestream

Drake’s Iceman rollout continues.

As fans patiently await his ninth studio album, the OVO rapper came through with the third installment of his Iceman stream, and fans got another taste of the album.

Most notably was a new untitled collaboration with Yeat, who previously collaborated with the 6 God on For All The Dogs and popped out at his star-studded Wireless Festival weekend-long headlining sets. Also featured on the song is singer-songwriter Julia Wolf.

Drizzy also reunited with sexy drill titan Cash Cobain for “Somebody Eats Me,” their first collaboration since FOTD’s “Calling For You.” The song is notable for sampling “Somebody Who Loves Me,” one of the standouts from Drake and PartyNextDoor’s $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.

Drake announced Iceman — his first solo album since 2023’s For All the Dogs — in August 2024, fresh off the release of his 100 GIGS EP. Drizzy has since blessed fans with multiple singles, including “What Did I Miss?” and the Central Cee-assisted “Which One?” The former generated plenty of online chatter, as many suspected it included a reference to his highly publicized rap beef with Kendrick Lamar and the fake friends that it exposed.

“I’m back in your city tonight, walkin’ around with my head high,” Drake declared on the track. “I saw bro at the Pop Out with them but been d**kriding gang since ‘Headlines.’”

Drake shed more light on his “next chapter” in a March Instagram post, warning fans that his upcoming output may leave some listeners “feel uneasy.”

“U know I grew up non confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold, but my these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore,” he wrote. “I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you’ve been sending me.”

It’s unclear when Iceman is set to hit streaming services, but Drake has hinted at a 2025 release. Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel suggested the project was scheduled to drop “soon,” perhaps around Drizzy’s 39th birthday (Oct. 24).

“Probably, around the end of October, maybe early November,” Manziel told Cool Kicks last month. “Birthday coming up. Coming back to Texas after that. I’m going to take him to a game this year. He’s going to Aggie Land.”
